Hometown: Plantation, Florida
Marissa Andresky was born in Plantation, Florida and found a love for dance at a young age. She grew up training at DANL Dance Center in a variety of styles including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, hip hop and acrobatics. Marissa has attended the Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive in New York and the Sarasota Contemporary Dance Intensive.
She is currently a student at the University of South Florida in Tampa, completing a Dual Degree with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in Ballet and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, as well as, a minor in Biomedical Anthropology. She has had the opportunity to work with and perform pieces by faculty members at USF, and guest choreographers Robert Moses and Alex Ketley.
