Nathalie Adams

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

Nathalie has been dancing since the age of three at America's Ballet School, where she trains in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, and Modern. Since its inception, Nathalie has been a part of the Tampa City Ballet II providing unique performances and high quality arts education. Nathalie has performed lead roles in America’s Ballet productions including The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Alice in Wonderland, and Sleeping Beauty. In the Summer, Nathalie has traveled to Monaco to dance with Academie de Danse Princesse Grace and to Miami to dance with the Art of Classical Ballet. Also, Nathalie attends Berkeley Preparatory School and is a member of the Advanced Theatre Ensemble where she works as both an actress and choreographer. 


Gracie Baumann

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

Born in Tampa, Gracie began her dance career at the age of three at New Tampa Dance Theatre in Tampa, Florida.  While there, Gracie studied Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Tap.  She was a member of the in house company, Dance Theatre of Tampa.  In 2013, She continued her dance training at America’s Ballet School.  Her focus became Ballet, Contemporary, and Modern dance. Gracie has participated in many outreach performances in the Tampa Bay area.  She has taken many master classes and different workshops at America’s Ballet School.  She has also competed in Youth America Grand Prix dance competition, and was awarded the honor of being selected as one of the Top 12 dancers in the Senior Modern Division for the Tampa Semi-Regional Finals in 2017. Gracie has also had opportunity to study in several summer programs across the country.  These include Butler University, America’s Ballet Theater, and The Rock School of Dance, as well as America’s Ballet School.  Her performance experience include various classical ballets, including the Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, and Coppellia.  She has also been a part of several original choreographies by Paula Nuñez, such as Frida, Outflow, and It’s Happening Anyway.  Gracie is also honored to be a member of Tampa City Ballet II and looks forward to her continued growth as a dancer and also sharing her passion of dance with those around her.


Jennah Bourque

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

Born in Boston, Jennah began dancing at the age of 5 at New Tampa Dance Theatre in Tampa, Florida, where she studied ballet, modern, tap, and jazz.  In 2013, she continued her ballet and modern techniques at America’s Ballet School. She has participated in numerous Outreach Performances in the Tampa Bay area as well as other festivals and galas in the state of Florida. She has taken different workshops and master classes at America’s Ballet School as well as at the Youth America Grand Prix and American Dance Competition. Jennah has attended summer intensives at America’s Ballet School and at New Tampa Dance Theatre. In 2017, Jennah was among the Top 12 dancers in the Senior Modern Division at the Tampa Semi-Regionals for the Youth America Grand Prix. Her repertoire includes various classical ballets like Coppelia, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker; as well as many choreographies by Paula Nunez such as Frida, Outflow, and It’s Happening Anyways. Jennah looks forward to sharing her passion of dance with Tampa City Ballet II and the community.




Sarah Fontana

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

A Tampa, Florida native, Sarah began dancing at the age of 4.  She studied classical ballet, modern, jazz, and musical theater at Jansen Dance Project.  Yet, her first love has always been ballet.  This lead her to America’s Ballet School, where she began studying under the direction of Paula Nunez and Osmany Montano in 2014.  She has participated in numerous workshops and master classes with ABS, Ballet Magnificat, and Alonzo King Lines, as well as outreach performances in the Tampa Bay area.  Sarah has performed in several classical ballets including The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Cinderella, Napoli, and Alice in Wonderland.  Her repertoire also includes contemporary works choreographed by Paula Nunez including Outflow, It’s Happening Anyways, and Frida.  Sarah placed in the Top 12 Senior Classical Division at the Youth America Grand Prix in the 2018 Tampa Semi Finals.  Sarah’s energy, passion, and extreme dedication for the art combine to effortlessly communicate her immense joy from the stage.  It is her desire to share this love of dance with others in the community.


Adia Hollist

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

Adia is 18 years old and was born in Tampa, Florida on Labor Day of 1999. Adia is currently a freshmen at Boston Conservatory at Berklee with scholarship. She graduated from the Dance Department at Howard W. Blake High School, she was an Advanced Placement Honor Student and a member of the National High School Association of Scholars, National Honor Society and National Honor Society for Dance Arts.  She was an active member and President of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts Blake chapter, ambassador of the Friends of the Arts Alliance, spokesperson for the Blake Department of Dance and also a member of the French Honor Society, Blake ambassador, CURE club and Terra Mater. She also act as mentor for younger kids, she was a speaker at Benito middle school in February 2016.

 Adia started dancing at the age of three when she danced in the Chocolate Nutcracker at the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.  Adia then joined the Dundu Dole Urban African Ballet Company under the direction of Jai Hinson, where she continued studies in dance including the Chocolate Nutcracker/Family Blessing presented by ARTZ 4 Life Academy also under the direction of Jai Hinson (thank you Mama Jai) and she is now the Princess.  She also volunteers at Artz 4 Life Academy, she assists the Director during rehearsals. Adia started her training at ABS in April of 2009 under the direction of Ms. Paula Nunez.  Adia has a passion for dance, gives her all and as a result has excelled tremendously in her recent years of study at ABS.  She has performed in The Nutcracker and various spring productions with ABS. She also volunteers with Tampa City Ballet and teachers the four and five year old kids at ABS, and help with the community project Tampa City Ballet is involved in. In 2016 she competed in classical solo, contemporary solo, and Ensemble at YAGP. She took first place in the senior contemporary division and performed the piece in the YAGP Gala in Tampa. She also competed at ADC in 2015 and was awarded ADC Medallion in both Classical and contemporary (top 10).  In March she was the cover model for the Blaize online dance and fitness magazine.  She was the first finalist model for Florida Dance Magazine in 2015.  She is a member of the Danz Ensemble group that performs in competition, various festivals and charitable functions around the Tampa Bay area. In 2016 she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Complexion dance company summer program in New York, In 2015 she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Alvin Ailey School, summer intensive and Peridance summer intensive in New York. In 2014 she was awarded the Alonzo Lines discovery project scholarship for their summer program in San Francisco. She has also attended every summer intensive program at ABS since 2009.

In March she attended the High School Dance festival in Madison, Wisconsin, during this festival her senior cerography piece (Written in Stone) was performed during the faculty and guest artist showcase. In April she participated in the YAGP finals in New York and she took the workshops and was lucky to have teachers from Paris Opera Ballet and Alvin Alley.  She also attended workshop in Broadway Dance Center.  She took the certification class at ABT in April 2014 for level 4 and passed. She has attended several master classes from various companies including Alvin Ailey, Alonzo Lines and American Ballet Theatre.  She is very thankful to Ms. Albena Arnaudova, Ms. Kelly Rayl and Howard W Blake for all the opportunities and exposure given to her at the school.

Other accolades include: US Achievement Academy National Recognition, Student of Excellence in Science and All American Scholar at Large; Junior National Leadership Conference Attendee in Washington DC.  Her poem “Christmas Eve” was published in the Anthology of Poetry of Young Americans. Adia appeared in documentary for The Spring of Tampa Bay called “My Child My Choice,” also did commercial for the City of Orlando, she has also appeared on Studio 10, Daytime NBC, Good Day Tampa Bay and Positively Tampa Bay, Bay News 9. She also engages in other activities such as, member of Hosley Temple Youth Choir, Sunday school teacher, Usher and Youth Ministry. For two years she made and sold handmade jewelry to raise money to feed families during the holidays, the money was donated to Metropolitan Ministries. She also volunteered at Metropolitan Ministries.

 She has to thank the ABS staff especially Ms. Paula, Mr. Osmany and Ms. Barbara for providing her with the training she needs to be the dancer she is today, for not giving up on her but have patience and continue to push her to her limit.




Gabriel Mannheimer

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

Gabriel started dancing at the age of 2 at DanceMaker School of Dance, then moving to Tampa Gym & Dance and Patel Conservatory. Through the On Your Feet outreach program, he got recruited for a scholarship to attend America's Ballet School.

In America's Ballet School, he has received training with Paula Nunez and Osmany Montano. One of his roles include the Prince in The Nutcracker, and participation in the productions of Coppelia, The Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, and more. Gabriel has been part of ABS's ensembles, participating in award-winning choreographic pieces for the Youth America Grand Prix and American Dance Competition. Gabriel is currently a senior in Blake High School for the Performing Arts, where he is enrolled in the Dance Program. After graduating, he will be attending Florida State University's Dance Program starting in the Summer of 2018.


Sarah McInvale

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

Sarah McInvale’s passion for dance began at the age of three under the artistic direction and jazz instruction of Dyane Elkins IronWing.  Though she concentrated on ballet as instructed by Nanako Yamamoto and Don Tolj, she also had years of tap training with Troy IronWing, modern training with Erica Lessner and Jennie Petuch, and hip-hop training with Dreama Davidson.  As a young dancer, Ms. McInvale also attended master training with Linda Maybarduk (National Ballet of Canada), Victoria Schneider (The HARID Conservatory), Laura Valentin (Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico), and Fosse principal Gary Flannery. Ms. McInvale performed with professional dancers of the Moscow Ballet in The Nutcracker at The Mahaffey Theater in 2013.  At the age of eleven, Ms. McInvale decided to focus her training on classical ballet and came under the direction of Paula Nunez and Osmany Montano at America’s Ballet School.  She also continued to explore styles of movement through modern and contemporary choreography under the master training of Elsa Valbuena, Jeanne Travers, and Sarah Walston.  Ms. McInvale has received master training at the HARID Conservatory under Svetlana Osiyeva, Meelis Pakri, and Lauren Carey.  Ms. McInvale recently spent her third summer at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy in New York City receiving intensive ballet and repertory training with Gelsey Kirkland, Michael Chernov, Alexandra Lawler, Vera Soloveyva, Liudmila Polonskaya, John Pickup, and Karina Elver.  Sarah continues to strive to perfect her ballet artistry in Vaganova, Cuban, and Bournonville methods. 




Hannah Thompson

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

Hannah has been training in Classical Ballet since she was 3 years old.  She spent the first 7 ½ years training at America’s Ballet School under the tutelage of Paula Nunez and Barbara Valles.   There she participated in numerous “Nutcracker” performances, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Little Mermaid” and others.  Hannah then trained with Giselle Durand and Julio Montano for 1 ½ years.  Subsequently she trained at the Patel Conservatory Youth Ballet for 2 years.  There, she was taught by several talented teachers and performed in two “Nutcrackers”, “Sleeping Beauty” and “Coppelia”.  In pursuit of her passion, at the age of 13, she departed for Connecticut where she studied for 2 years away from home at a ballet boarding school.  She is happy to be home and back in her happy place at America’s Ballet School. Hannah is very grateful to Mrs. Paula and Mr. Osmany for welcoming her back and to all her instructors including Luana Hidalgo for their guidance and genuine care.  She is thrilled to have been selected as a member of TCB II.


Summer Intensives she has attended are Kirov Academy, American Ballet Theater NYC, Bolshoi Ballet NY, Next Generation Ballet, Brandon Ballet, America’s Ballet School and the Vail Valley Summer Intensive. 



Kelly Tian

Hometown: Tampa, Florida

Kelly Tian has been a student at America's Ballet School since she was four years old. She is currently in the Pre-Professional level where her teachers continue to focus on helping dancers improve their technique and artistry. Kelly has performed in many productions of ABS, most recently The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, and many outreach shows. She also competed at the 2018 and 2017 YAGP Tampa regional semi-finals and placed Top 12 in the Junior Contemporary division in 2017. During the school year, Kelly attends classes at ABS Monday through Saturday for at least one and a half hours each day. In addition, she also attends the annual summer intensive to progress further in her ballet training.


Bhajhan Williams

Hometown: Brooklyn, New York

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Bhajhan was first introduced to the world of ballet in 2006 in his elementary school, he was five years old. He observed the Elevate Program from Brooklyn Ballet in a school assembly. He was hooked after participating in their six week program in school and was offered a scholarship to continue with his dance training at Brooklyn Ballet. He learned classical ballet with the company under the tutelage of Caridad Martinez and performed in many of their productions.

Dances Patrelle offered Bhajhan an opportunity to perform in their production of the Yorkville Nutcracker. He also performed in their production of Gilbert and Sullivan, the Ballet!

In 2011 and 2012 Bhajhan was invited to the Young Dancer Summer Workshop at the American Ballet Theatre. He was accepted into the JKO Children’s School and completed levels 4A, 4B and American Ballet Theatre Pre-Professional level 5. He has also danced with the French Academie of Ballet.

Bhajhan attended and graduated from the Professional Performing Arts High School in New York which has a partnership with The Ailey School, where he learned a diverse dance curriculum with a foundation in ballet and courses in Modern Horton, Jazz and West African dance.
