HANNAH THOMPSON


 

From Tampa, Florida, Hannah Thompson is currently a second year student at the University of South Florida set to graduate in 2024 with a BFA in Modern Dance and Choreography. She trained at Americas Ballet School under Paula Nuñez, Osmany Montano, and Luana Hidalgo until her graduation in 2020.

She began dancing with the company as a trainee in 2018, and became a company member with Tampa City Ballet in 2021. She has performed in productions "If I Cry" (2018, 2019), "Ybor 7th Ave" (2019), "Pulcinella" (2020), "It's Been a Minute" (2020), Ybor 7th Ave Film" (2020), "Reflections" (2020), and "Cinderella" (2021).

In 2021, she choreographed for the company in a production she co-founded with fellow company members entitled "Era" establishing a platform for the company members to create works of their own on the company and dancers within the community. She also had the opportunity to choreograph on her peers and have the work performed at USF for the annual Student Dance Concert in 2022.
