Prodigy Summer Program
In partnership with University Area Community Development Corporation (UACDC) and Prodigy, Tampa City Ballet will offer free classes to youth ages 5 to 18 a comprehensive program centered on positive youth development through performing arts.

New Tampa Performing Arts Center
Created by award-winning choreographer and TCB founder Paula Nuñez, this production explores the history of Ybor City, inspired by Impressions of an Emigrant, translated by USF scholar Noel Smith. Fusing dance, opera, live music, and technology, the work honors Tampa’s diverse communities while addressing themes of human resilience, and civic pride.

Each performance in the Whispers of Light series is designed to respond to the unique architecture, energy, and exhibitions of the host museum. Dancers move through galleries and open spaces, weaving a living narrative that speaks to the themes of memory, and reflection.

The Cigar Maker’s Daughter
J.C. Newman Cigar Museum & Factory
A site-specific production and short film, The Cigar Maker's Daughter is a clever nod to Loretta Lynn's iconic song Coal Miner's Daughter, connecting audiences to a familiar cultural reference while highlighting the unique history of Tampa’s cigar-making industry.
At this time there are no health and safety requirements for audiences, artists, or staff at Tampa City Ballet events.
