Mariana Lapp started her dance journey at Cavod Academy of the Arts in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. From there, she continued her ballet training at the Nutmeg Conservatory of the Arts for a year. At 16, she joined the Sarasota Ballet's Margaret Barbieri Conservatory Trainee Program for the next 3 years. There she worked with teachers such as Lindsay Fischer and Risa Kaplowitz, performed new works by Maximiliano Iglesias and Macarena Gimenez, and danced ballets staged by Deidre Miles Burger.

Mariana enjoys contemporary and neo-classical styles as well as classical ballet, and is excited to start her journey with Tampa City Ballet.
